CPR Training
Children with autism are 160 times more likely to drown than their typically developing peers. This means that parents of children with autism must be super-diligent in understanding how to respond if their child wanders away and towards water.
CPR is NOT what it looks like in the movies!
COMING TO YOU
The Autism Society of Florida partners with Fire Chiefs across the state of Florida to bring CPR training to local areas.
These trainings are in person, and hands-on.
You will learn:
• how to assess a life-threatening situation
• what type of support the person needs
• the process of CPR
• about the importance of supervision
• that CPR is NOT how it looks in the movies!
Each person who attends will receive a FREE DOOR ALARM!
